The MARINNONET project has officially launched its 2nd Call for Pilot Projects, building on the success of the first round that saw nine pilot projects funded across the Atlantic Regions. This new call aims to support innovative and impactful initiatives aligned with the Blue Bioeconomy priorities defined by the consortium.
Proposals should contribute to the development of one or more of the three key Biotechnology Platforms:

Innovation for efficient, sustainable and resilient aquaculture

Observation technologies to preserve marine biodiversity and restore ocean health

Marine-related products for industrial applications
The selected pilot projects must consist of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) activities within Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 3–7, and have a maximum duration of 9 months.
Who can apply?
Only members of the MARINNONET consortium are eligible to submit proposals under this call. All projects must align with the regional priorities identified in the Joint Action Plan, which was shaped through stakeholder workshops held across the Atlantic Regions (The Canary Islands, Portugal, Galicia, Basque Country, France, and Ireland).
Funding Details
Funding of up to €30,000 per project is available, depending on regional guidelines and organizational eligibility. Specific budget conditions and allocation criteria are detailed in the official call documentation.
