Project partners reviewed the results achieved within these 3 years of transnational cooperation and explored opportunities to continue the work developed in the field of Blue Biotechnology across the Atlantic Area
MARINNONET has held its final consortium meeting, bringing together project partners to review the work carried out over its (almost) 36-month implementation period, assess the main results achieved and begin discussing the future of the network beyond the end of the project.
The meeting provided an opportunity to look back at the all the different activities carried out and assess objectives and expectations. With still 2 more months ahead, project partners were brought together to define a clear path to the project’s end and how to keep alive the network.
This final meeting therefore served not only to assess the results achieved, but also to share lessons learned and explore how to build on the knowledge, connections and cooperation dynamics generated over the past three years. MARINNONET achievements reflect the work of a transnational network that has connected stakeholders from Spain, France, Ireland and Portugal around a common goal: strengthening innovation capacity in the Atlantic Area’s Blue Biotechnology sector.
A network looking beyond the project
As MARINNONET approaches the end of its implementation period, partners also dedicated part of the meeting to discussing the continuity of the network and opportunities for future collaboration.
Partners believe that after almost three years of working together, the project leaves behind a strong network of relationships between stakeholders from different countries and sectors, with hopes of continuing to nurture and build new initiatives in marine biotechnology.
